Hutchison Smith Architects

Responsive, Creative, Value-Driven Building Solutions

Firm Profile

Our company's mission is to provide our clients with responsive, creative, value-driven building solutions.

History

HSA was founded in 1996 with the mission of offering a full spectrum of services. Today we are licensed in 10 states. Our staff includes four architects, four project managers and three administrative personnel.

The firm has built a solid reputation for excellence, quality work and honesty in meeting the client's needs. HSA has successfully provided design services on over 600 projects for various state agencies and other public entities since our founding.

Work from repeat clients is the best recommendation we can receive. Most of our work comes from long term, renewable contracts with clients for whom we have provided top quality service for many years. We provide our clients with responsive service, delivered on time and within budget on a wide array of project types, from multi-million dollar new buildings to remodels, systems upgrades, historic renovations and repair and maintenance work. Each project, no matter how large or small, is important to our clients. We understand that and give each project the attention that our clients expect and deserve.

Philosophy

Hutchison Smith Architects is focused on providing clients with hands-on, personalized service and has built a reputation for providing responsive service, thorough construction documents and projects brought in on time and within budget. We provide our clients with the timely service they desire and the quality of service they deserve. As a result of this philosophy, most of our business comes from repeat, satisfied clients.

To ensure quality service, one of our principals, Don Hutchison or Bob Smith, will be actively involved with your project. Each project will be overseen by Don or Bob depending on whose expertise is more appropriate for the specific project. Additionally, a Project Architect or Project Manager may also be assigned depending on project complexity.

"In a day where most communities settle for plain looking buildings, we are fortunate to have the benefit of your talents that will leave a lasting legacy in our small town."
